We grew up in tech — Vince leading engineering teams at Netflix and Apple, Mira building and shipping apple.com — and we watched AI transform how those companies operated from the inside. We also watched that transformation stay confined to certain companies.
In 2024 we came home — to Mt. Shasta, where Mira was born and raised, where we built our house and put down real roots after four years traveling this country and falling in love with the communities that make it worth living in. The businesses here — contractors, law firms, hotels, breweries, accounting practices, outfitters — are run by smart, hardworking people who know their industries inside and out. They don't need another app or a remote agency sending monthly reports from Portland. They need someone who understands AI and software deeply, understands their business specifically, and shows up in person.

Meet the Team
Vince Francesi
Co-Founder
Vince Francesi spent more than a decade as an engineering leader at two of the most demanding technology companies in the world. At Netflix, he led engineering teams responsible for the tools and platforms powering Netflix Original Content — the systems that managed how films and shows moved from script to screen. At Apple, he built the core applications behind Beats 1, Apple's live global radio station, including the scheduling and broadcast infrastructure that kept it running around the clock.
But before any of that, Vince was already doing what he's doing now. In the mid-2000s, working out of Indiana, he ran Illumini — a custom software consultancy that built practical technology solutions for small businesses. That early experience shaped something that two decades in Silicon Valley never erased: a genuine belief that small businesses deserve the same caliber of thinking and execution that enterprise companies take for granted.
In 2019, Vince and his wife Mira left San Francisco and spent four years traveling North America full-time in a motorhome — 49 states, most of the Canadian provinces, and a front-row education in what communities outside major metros actually look like. In 2023 they settled in Mt. Shasta, Mira's hometown, where they built a home at the foot of the mountain.
M&V Digital Solutions is the product of all of it — enterprise-grade process, small business instincts, and a genuine stake in the communities along the Northern California and Southern Oregon corridor. Mira Francesi
Co-Founder
Mira Francesi grew up in Mt. Shasta and built a career in software engineering that took her to some of the most demanding technical environments in the industry. At Apple, she spent nearly a decade as a frontend developer and tech lead on apple.com — one of the highest-traffic, most scrutinized websites in the world — before moving into DevOps and release management. She also co-founded an internal community at Apple for women and non-binary engineers, a reflection of her instinct to build things that support the people around her.
At M&V Digital Solutions, Mira's focus is on the human side of every solution — how it fits into a team's daily workflow, whether it's actually usable by the people it's built for, and whether it holds up over time. That perspective, shaped by years of building and shipping production software at enterprise scale, is what keeps the firm's solutions grounded in reality rather than just impressive in a demo.
Coming home to Mt. Shasta wasn't a compromise — it was the point. Mira brings the same care to this community that she brought to her work, and that combination of technical depth and local roots is at the heart of what M&V Digital Solutions is built on.
